Advafab facility is a substantial investment for the organically grown company. The company was searching for a suitable space to build a clean room for almost a year. Finally, an existing clean room for medicine fabrication was found and renovated into an ISO 5 class semiconductor fabrication facility where flip-chip bonding and electrical testing activities take place.
Sami Vähänen (CTO) says that establishing our own production facility is particularly important for being successful in international bidding competitions for big productions. Moreover, the own production facility will enable full control of the manufacturing process and increase the company’s level of independence and thus agility and faster service turnaround times with high quality.
